Stephan joined Medialocate in early 2001, successfully navigating the company through very perilous post-.com terrain. A 20-year veteran in the localization industry, he has held various key positions in the Silicon Valley and his insights into industry trends, language technologies, and operational efficiencies have guided Medialocate to its current leadership position among mid-sized LSPs.

Ilge Karancak
Chief Financial Officer
Ilge's career in finance and banking dates back over 20 years. Having held financial management positions with other localizers, large banks and brokerage firms, Ilge's domain expertise is in investor relations and in implementing progressive accounting methodologies. She joined Medialocate in 2000 and has since overseen more than 30 profitable quarters.

Hazel Evans
Vice President, Strategic Programs
Hazel has been in the localization industry for over 15 years and has been with Medialocate since 2001. Prior to joining Medialocate, she worked as Director of Operations of another prominent localization firm in the Silicon Valley, and as Senior Account Executive for various leading language companies in Ireland, Scotland, and France. She has continually excelled in adding strategic partnerships with Fortune 1000 companies through unconventional "out-of-box" thinking.

Peter Hyllekve-Baker
Production Manager
Prior to joining Medialocate in 2000, Peter gained valuable production management experience with commercial construction companies in Germany and Russia. His teams built actual steel and brick bridges then; today he leads our team of localization project managers in building global linguistic bridges. He is fluent in French and Russian and is also teaching courses on translation management systems at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Marcelo Rizzo
Technology Manager
Marcelo's technology career spans over 16 years and includes IT and Engineering positions at globalization giants such as Lionbridge, AT&T Language Line, and Lucent ILT Solutions. He arrived at Medialocate in 2000, and since has established Medialocate as a secrete technology powerhouse, equipping the company with IT know-how and infrastructure typically only found at very large organizations. Marcelo is fluent in Spanish and teaches at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.

Vilma Campos
Engineering Manager
Vilma has over 17 years experience and extensive knowledge of translation automation tools, QA processes, pre-/post-production engineering and broad background in computer science. She has been with Medialocate since 1998 and her technical sophistication and diverse cultural experience in Mexican industry and Silicon Valley uniquely qualify her to lead out team of talented engineers and developers.

Cindy Brown
Resource Manager
14 years as a French translator, interpreter, and adjunct professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, along with 9 years of experience in active project management give Cindy a unique resource management perspective. Her distinctive skill set has propelled Medialocate to excellence in scouting and qualifying of top talent, resulting in favored rate structures and innovative contracts, and ultimately leading to extraordinary resource dedication and retention.

Petra Johnson
European Office Lead
Petra has lead our European production office in Slovakia since 2004. Her post-graduate degree in translation and interpretation, a Master's degree in psychology and ethnology, as well as her business law degree make Petra an outstanding liaison between our US headquarters and our European production office. Petra is fluent in English, Slovak, and Italian and has worked as a freelance translator and teacher in Bratislava for over 10 years prior to joining Medialocate.

Eloise Ho
Asian Office Lead
Eloise established our Asian presence 10 years ago, traveling extensively throughout the region building an excellent rapport with top-of-the-line in-country resources. She is fluent in 5 Asian languages and 3 dialects, and serves as the key liaison between our strategic Singapore office and our larger production facilities in Shanghai, Osaka, Seoul, and Bangkok.
