Medialocate ISO-9001 Recertification

Audit results show commitment to quality and continual improvement for leading Language Service Provider

Pacific Grove, Calif. – (May 1, 2014) – Medialocate USA, Inc. announced today that the company and its quality management systems have been recertified for both ISO-9001:2008 and ISO-13485:2003 by TüVSüd America, an independent, third-party audit and certification body.

The announcement was made by Stephan Lins, Medialocate’s chief executive officer.

“Close on the heels of our renewed EN15038-2006 certification this past March, these two ISO re-certifications are a testament to the excellent work Medialocate’s teams continue to do” said Lins, “and a pledge to our clients that their translation projects will be handled with the utmost in quality and care.”

ISO-9001, the standard for quality management systems, requires an organization to issue and communicate a documented quality policy, a Quality Manual and numerous records. ISO-13485 is the standard that requires a comprehensive quality system for the design and manufacture of – or services related to – Medical Devices.

On a related note, the March 2014 edition of its technical industry e-news updates “E-ssentials,” TüVSüd showcased Medialocate in an article entitled “The Benefits of Management System Audits: The Case of Medialocate” (Link to PDF: http://goo.gl/EVspev).

As for the “E-ssentials” article, Vilma Campos, Medialocate’s Systems Engineering Manager, is quoted as saying: “This is the second consecutive external audit that zero non-conformities were found in our system which is a wonderful achievement. Having these results from two expert auditors show our dedication and commitment to quality as well as continual improvement.”

“We are obtaining more data on client satisfaction than ever before,” reports Campos. “We’re also building stronger client relationships because of the personal touch.” She noted that the new approach has resulted in a flow of ideas for new services.

“Our clients are a great source of information about additional services that we can offer,” says Campos, “and new ways to differentiate our company in the marketplace.”
